Blueprints from Baja: 'Easy' series #5

$950.00

Washingtonia robusta, commonly know as the Mexican fan palm, is a palm tree native to the Baja California peninsula. You’ll see these palms waving in the coastal breeze and you’ll see them integrated in ‘palapa’ roofs and in fences.

While in Baja in the Winter of 2022, I got pretty intimate with the fan palm. I lived in a cabaña made out of fan palms. I was immediately drawn to the stunning geometry of the palms that were growing on my driveway. I decided to work with the fan palm exclusively during my time there. The result, a collection of cyanotypes of different sizes, is now yours to enjoy!

Size: 2 x 4 feet (24 x 48 inches) • 61 x 122 cm

Details: Unique, original cyanotype on Canson Montval watercolor paper 300 gr. Unframed. Signed, titled, and dated by the artist on the back. Signature on the front.

Made in: El Pescadero, Baja California Sur (Mexico) in May 2022
